I have a 1992 Olds 88 that has been acting up on me. It started by shutting off while driving then I would take 10-15 minutes before it would start again. Yesteraday I had a mechanic install a crank sensor for me, I picked it up today and drove about 11 miles and it did it again, then would not start. I may have jumped the gun but I replaced the coils and the ignition module and it still would not start. I have a test kit for the injectors so i hooked it up and the light did not light.

This car is driving me crazy:screwy: . Do you think that maybe the sensor was not ajusted right and the harmonic chewed it up and that is why it ins not firing or is there something that I am missing? Please help!!

My appoligies it's a V6-3800 3.8L. I also forgot to mention that the engine service light came on and is staying on.

Here's a link to an article on getting the trouble codes.

Also check all the fuses (passenger side also) & battery connections.
