Hey guys

Just so i dont feel like mine's the only one,...when my V8 starts-a-movin', my 1st gear does 2 diff. things:

When i leave my driveway, i tap the gap to get moving and 1st gear lasts MAYBE 1 second, and sounds like its a high-rev.

When i have to hit the gas when getting on the highway, it seems to last a bit longer...

Is this normal?

This sounds normal. The shift will be delayed further the harder you push on the gas.
