So I went to start my car the other day after I had been running around town all day and....it died. It was working fine with no troubles and then when I went to start it after one of my quick runs into a shop, it turned over, and then just died. It started up and then just shut off. After a couple of tries, it did the same thing. I put the key in a different position and wiggled it around and then it started right up. The guy at the local shop said it was my ignition switch because when I went to put the car in ACC position with my key, none of my dash lights lit up and the problem was key sensitive. He also said it happens to Hondas a lot. I know it's not the battery and i thought it might be the alternator, but those die out slowly, not instantly, like this. I am asking you guys as a second opinion. His diagnosis sounds right, but I wanna see what you all thought. Thanks!

buy both ignition switch and ignition cylinder ,if the switch does not fix the problem replace the cylinder, if it does return the cylinder.
