I have a 96 neon s.o.c. engine. on the right end of the head there is a small black square sensor of some type that has an electrical connection on it. That sensor seems to leaking coolant, can somebody tell what it is and does it heve a gasket or o-ring that can be replaced without replacing the part.

Thanks

That would be your camshaft position sensor. It should not be leaking coolant, but can leak oil. I would have your oil and coolant checked to see if they are contaminated with each other. If so, then you have a bad headgasket.

The sensor is about $30 and easy to replace.
