end of the sale/deal when you buy tires.

Got tires 'bout a year ago now, the Yokohama's, had - key word - had about 16k miles or so on them. I was following a guy in his pickup with the Rodeo, whom appearantly had boxes upon boxes of roofing nails in the back; you can imagine what happened. :eek7: :crying:

3 tires down with so many nails I'd lost count - obviously a normal person only carries 1 spare tire, so I had to call a tow truck.:headshake

Thankfully I have free towing.

Discount tire ordered 4 new tires - same Yokohama's Geolanders AT's, gave me 3 free tires with only the cost of transferring the warranty, and I bought the 4th.

I was gonna leave the 4th older tire alone, but there was a marked difference in tread depth, although my older set didn't even look worn - til I compared them to the new ones.

Really wanted to put the Bridgestone Revo's back on this truck when my Geo's wore out, but hey a whole new set of tires worth $650 for only $135 who can complain!

Never did make it to X-mas shopping today.

.

That guy in the pickup WORKS for a tire company - drumming up business?
Get a description& license plate number?? Failure to secure a load is a moving violation. That bugger owes you $135 plus.

Got the description, but was too busy trying to keep the Rodeo on the road - we were doin 65-70mph. Pretty scary actually.
