I pulled a starter out of a V6 Rodeo assuming it was the same as my 97 3.2 Passport. Not sure what year the Rodeo but it was pre 97, and that starter looks like it has different mounts. Are there different starters for other V6s? I have the same single click noise when I turn the key, tried all the other stuff....

Without knowing what year the other Rodeo was, can't really help.

The 91-92 Rodeo's had the 3.1L GM engine; 93-95 Rodeo's had the 3.2L sohc (175hp) Isuzu engine - may have required smaller/different starter not sure; 96-97 190hp engine's should share same starter.
