Axle Extenders KidAce 12-07-2006, 02:59 PM
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has heard of, or have used those spacers that you can insert between the tire and the rotor. I'm not exactly sure what they are called, but I think I accidentally ran across it in one of those Auto Tech sites, 2 or 3 years ago. Their purpose is to extend the axle out a little bit more so to make the vehicle look like its got mud tires. I'm thinking of getting 2 pairs, but I don't know where to get them. Any ideas? Thanks, Kidace Scrapper 12-07-2006, 03:18 PM should be able to get at any automotive shop like autozone, advanced pepboys..or any racing shop like we got a k-motion but i bet you could have them order them 4 you at pepboys or like i say all automotive parts stores...or try jegs or sumit.com GOOD LUCK..... You should have at least two full threads sticking out of your lug nuts if you are using factory ones. If you are using closed ended lug nuts you will need to decide when the wheel is put on with the spacer in place if they are long enough.
