Almost everyone. But if I had to narrow it down to the cars in the same class as my DSM, here goes;

Any econo car with more than 120-hp. Like Cavaliers, Corollas, Escorts, simply because their lighter.
Also Civics. I raced my friend in his 99' EX with auto trans & body kit from bout' 30-mph. He schooled me hard. Oh, it's not that I can't drive, my car's auto too.

I would love to take on any chinky import with my '66 GTO, but I would never race a Lambo, Porche, or Ferarri, unless I was in one :)

I'd race any high end sports car if only just to see them kick my ass.
I always enjoy seeing cars like that perform. That includes anything TT or high class euro.

Me and my friend headed home laughing, woundering what the guy in the porsche was thinking when he got jumped by a olds alero. It was a fun night and if I had the choice, I would do it all over again. Sure, I knew I wouldn't win, but it was still fun anyway. Just in case you are woundering I never did tell my g/f, I raced a 911 turbo in her car.

I've done the same thing, battling this 911 over the summer along about a 15mile stretch of road in the city, cutting cars and traffic at about 80-90mph @ times, the fact that he couldn't shake me surprised him, but when this Avalon (me) that had been supposedly tailing him pushed the envelop and blew past him at about 110 he most def had a kodak moment :D

But anyway, to anwser the fourm Question, i wouldn't be afraid to race anything, if you beat me especially on the street then you deserved to win and it's an exprience im going to learn from to make me a better driver.

911 turbo, ferrari 360, any lambo, z06, modded supras, and any powerful car with awd gives me a bit of a scare. i just wish i could find these cars to race. i ran into a guy with a ferrari 360 vert once and half seriously asked him for a race. this rich foreign bastard just laughed to himself and said "you think you have a chance?" i told him i did, but he didn't believe me. i really would have had to driven well to beat him though. but i would give anything to see his face when my $15000 mazda beats his hundred thousand dollar ferrari.

I really didnt care what i raced. I never have really done quarter mile racing usually just seeing a car at a light or on the road rev a lil then we'd just try to pass each other.

But I can say worked VR4s, chipped Golfs, STi's, anything when i can hear the turbo haha.

and...

Anything with a drunk driver, or someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Other than those nothing.

what i am afraid of racing is something with less power than me......if a viper beats me boo hoo.....anyone could beat me in viper but i would not be able to live it down being beaten by a weaker car since that would be because driver skill.....


btw if i ever see that guy with enzo that lives around here i'll rev for sure at him......being beaten by an enzo....that is something to brag about:bigthumb:

CRX....only time i ever street raced, other than just screwin around with my freinds, was against a (i believe) 88 CRX..... got my ass handed to me..... moral of the story, dont count on winning a race if your in a cavalier :icon16:

Well I drive a classic mini - so i always get everyone wanting to race me!!

blowing exhaust = sounds like a big expensive one
subs in plain view = boy racer
it's a mini = I WILL take you on corners!

I've raced people in their 1.6L cars and still won in my 998!!

in short, I find it funny to race ANYONE (except on the straight!)

I hate racing other GTRs I have no prob with RX7s or 300ZXs But an A GTR with over 800hp and a sequential Trans is scary....I've learned my lesson.

I don't know that I'd really be afraid to race anything...if I'm going fast, I'm happy. I've got people now trying to get me to take my car (which is bone-stock) to the local dragstrip and enter it (but it's only a 1/8 track, so I don't think I'm gonna, I wanna run 1/4).

Stick it beside me, rev it up, and I'll give it a shot.

I wouldn't be afraid to race anyone... Any car that can hand me my ass, is one hell of a car! Besides, it's really sweet to get your butt whooped every once in a while.

right now im not realy afraid of anything cus just about anything on the roads around here i can take in my 300zx in my impreza ill still race anything but do tend to loose everyone in a while. once i finish work on my impreza however its going to be unstoppable

for shits and giggles i raced (lost to) a 2000+ 911 turbo, obviously modified, i dunno what it had but it was fast, at the time i was in an 87 integra lol

i would not race
anything from italy (of germany and may other parts of europe for that matter, cuz stock most are made for sports. france is the exception cuz most of their cars are slow)

I’m saying I would be afraid to race in a car with magnesium parts. Magnesium is quite flammable.

I love those GLHs; it stands for Goes Like Hell for a reason. I plan to buy one for an autocross car.

i fear no car, on the street i'll line up with anybody. especially a skyline, or a supra, the faster they are the more i want to race them. the other day i tried racing a viper, but it did not want to race. i've tried racing nsx like 3 times and a lambo once.there's not too many 400hp cars on the road were i live, its very very rare, and thats probly the reason why i fear no car.

Viper, Z06, Blown GT/Cobra's (even though i find time to mess with them) and modded F-Bodies

although my car can beat most of the cars out there, I'd have to say mercedes sl500's, mercedes cl600's, corvettes, porsches and twin turbo supras. They're pretty common where i live and they'd probably beat me easily.

I race for fun win or loose, even its a ferrari, if i win sweet, if i loose what can u do.
