1990 Eighty Eight - Rear Brake Noise

I have a 1990 Eighty Eight....Right Rear brake started to make a bumping as I applied the brake. After inspecting the shoes and drum; one shoe seems to be worn more than the other. I have never done a Drum brake job...Is this a symptom of the wheel cylinder being faulty. Any ideas would be appreciated
