I think that is what my mechanic was trying to tell me, but he was not sure! trooperbc 12-03-2006, 09:26 PM before you go the ac route, just make sure that your mechanic has adjusted your belts *tight* enough. in my experience, the correct tightness is more than i'm used to, and i generally have to retighten them (mostly the alternator belt) until the squeel goes away //bc p.s. """the three belts in the front (AC, fan belt and ??) """ and power steering pump belt. marcusinaus 12-04-2006, 12:34 AM before you go the ac route, just make sure that your mechanic has adjusted your belts *tight* enough. in my experience, the correct tightness is more than i'm used to, and i generally have to retighten them (mostly the alternator belt) until the squeel goes away //bc p.s.
