CD player only works sometimes

2000 Venture - My CD playert only works wometimes. When it's cold out it will accept the CD, go to track one and then spit s the CD outy. The Owner's manual says that if the car is too hot this will happen. Would cold temperature make the CD not work too?:banghead:

My '99 did the same thing the other day, cold out so could be a cold thing. First time mine has done it but, I've only had 1.5 years.
