How do you remove Pwr Steering pump

on a 98 Deville, 4.6L Northstar Engine? It's right there on top and looks relatively easy, not! Any advices is greatly appreciated. The Chilton book from Autozone says to remove the oil reservoir first to access the removal bolts. Good luck with that, I tried that today and thought I had to lift a gas line to the injectors, then ended up with a gas leak on both injectors. Lesson learned, if you take the gas line off an injector, chances are the O-ring will need to be replaced if the car has any age on it. So I had a PS pump problem, then ended up running around Houston for a seal kit for the injectors that I screwed up. This was one of those days. Anyway, with the gas problem, I never did get the PS pump off, so if anyone knows the trick to this seemingly simple puzzle, I'm all ears.

Thanks very much.
