Try this: put key in ignition and turn to on (not start) ad then turn the radio to on and walk away for ONE HOUR. Come back turn radio off and then on, CODE should appear and then try and recode, if you hear a boing, stop, turn radio off and back on, and then try and re code the radio. This is the alternate method to recode the radio after three failed attempts. Are you sure the ampliifier wasn't taken?

well my radio beeps instead of going boing, plus I alread have turned it on and left for an hour before. And I did put the code in but then it eventually after doing that a few times accepted the code. Then after that it was broke at a blank screen.
