2000 Deville Looking to buy

Hello I am looking at buying a Diamond white 2000 Deville base model with Parking sensors and front and back heated seats and no sunroof with 79,000 miles on it for about $8K with the Northstar in it. Is this a good deal and what should I know about or check up on it when I test drive it this weekend, Thanks in advance.

Check edmunds.com for what used Devilles with those options and mileage are going for. As for what to check, I'd check the usual parts of any car. Look for any signs of a serious accident, flood, excess rust, engine and trans leaks, and what maintenance has been done. It's important on the Northstars to have the coolant changed regularly. That car should have it done at least once already.
