High Oil Pressure

Wondering if anyone has had the DIC show high oil readings example cold engine oil pressure reads - - - which is off the scale,
once car warms up it will show around 66psi at 70 mph and 25psi at idle. If I open it up it will read 111 or - - - even when warm. I have installed 2 Delco oil pressure sensors so I believe I can rule out the sensor. If I drive it hard it does seem to leak oil. I have changed oil and filter I use 10W30 oil and AC PF61 filter...

I would hook up a pressure gage and check the actual pressure. If running way high. They have a pressure regulator in the side of the unit where you screw on the oil filter. I have worked on older oldsmobile units. Go to a machine shop or dealer and purchase a rebuild kit and gasket or o-ring to replace it. They have a steel ball, spring o-ring and adjuster. They look a lot like a relief valve on a hydraulic jack. I would adjust it using a pressure gage.
You run the risk of blowing the oil filter which could trash your engine.
GM probably has a new calibrated unit.
