Crankwalk....Evo motor?
racing4thesun 09-17-2002, 12:03 AM I am looking to buy my friends 97 gsx. It does have crankwalk. A)should i tell him not to replace the motor and I'll buy and evolution motor or B) Have him but a new motor in and just upgrade the motor i.e. cams, head work, turbo. Also can the evo motor be put in? Thanks. Ride158control 09-17-2002, 04:07 AM try DSM.COM.... quote from dsm.com..... crankwalk is a crankshaft that moves too much inside the engine. to fix... mitsubishi has made replacements to fit the bearing housing......in short go dsm.com before you waste all that money. turboracergsx 10-18-2002, 07:26 AM evo motor wont go in it...i believe its turned the opposite way than our 2g 4g63...best bet is get a 1g 6 bolt motor and build it and put it in your car.
