Why The Heck Wont Low Washer Fluid Light Stop transgta 11-29-2006, 08:19 PM
Couple months ago low washer fluid light came on filled up still shows at every start. Have looked in book unplugged wire to fluid bottle and disconnected battery. Dont get it anybody have the answer???? horse482 12-01-2006, 11:31 PM You will need to replace the level sensor. If you unpluged a working sensor the light would come on. transgta 12-06-2006, 03:04 PM I only unplugged it after a month of seeing the low wash light come on. Also where is the level sensor im assuming inside the coolant bottle? THANKS HORSE 777stickman 12-06-2006, 05:19 PM How about jumpering the plug wires to make it think it's full of fluid?? My '98 Sub doesn't have that system on it so I can't tell you which wires to jumper, if you're so inclined. BLUE ZL600 EFI 12-16-2006, 07:11 AM I would assume the float in the bottle is stuck. Happened to me one time. It's a long sponge thing in the bottle. I used a garden hose to fill the bottle hard and fast. It dislodged it and has worked fine ever since. XFBO 03-05-2007, 10:12 PM Can anyone tell me how to take the washer bottle out? Im hoping its an easy affair from underneath the car? I think its cracked cuz it seemed to keep leaking when my wife poured a gallon of fluid in there and now its empty. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
