can u put a b18 in a crx or would it be better of with a b16?

Yes. A b18 can fit in a 1st gen CRX (85-87). There will be ALOT of wiring to do, but it will work.

well i went to 9 second racing store and they said it might not fit cuz there might not be enough space between the radiator and the exhuast manifold but wich b18 fits?
