best motor in 6th gen civic coupecompwc18 09-15-2002, 10:21 PM What would be the best motor to put into a 6th generation civic... Im thinking about the B18C5 motor.??? any help would be awsome kidrocket 09-15-2002, 11:18 PM very expensive for the minimal power gain you would have over a GSR motor. I would say B18C1 is your best bet compwc18 09-15-2002, 11:49 PM why B18c1?? I heard the tranny on the b18c5 is very good ebcause it has close gear??? If you had the money would u prefer a b18c5 over the b18c1??? And isnt the b18c5 able to produce more power in the long run??? or am I wrong? kidrocket 09-16-2002, 12:06 AM a b18c5 is going to be way more expensive than a C1. with the money you save, you can get more power from the GSR motor. It all depends on your intentions for the car. compwc18 09-16-2002, 09:43 AM I plan to make the car a good street-racing car while at the same time a good car to cruise around in at nights... I also plan to have it race at like Woodburn Drag Strip's... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
