when Im driving my car, It's like the trans does not upshift, and the Rpm's are in the 4 and 5 at 40 to 60 mph, can someone help. thanks everyone.............................

have you checked your trans fluid levels. very easy to test. easy to fix

An Egr Vavle Or Tps Sensor Can Cause This. The Pcm Will Not Shift Into O/d If These Are Out Of Sync. I Had This Problem When I Swapped Out My Tps Sensor With One That Was Bad.

I guess it stucks in the 2nd gear (failsafe mode), my Aurora has a similar problem. Are there any DTC set? The shift solenoids seems to be a good place to start. Unfortuantely, my car has a different problem.It probably has a PCM failura or other electrical error.

Baron: I didn't check the EGR and TPS sensors yet. Did your car shifted into 1-2-3rd gears and it missed only the 4th? Do you know a sure method to check the TPS and EGR sensors? I have a Tech1.
