Un plug the fan and check for voltage. The fan motors aren't to expensive at the parts store. kingman200154 11-24-2006, 09:30 PM my sound silly but im just learning to work on trucks , how would i check if there is voltage? BlazerLT 11-24-2006, 10:43 PM I suggest getting a repair manual. It will show you how to reach the fan. Will the fan run on maximum? rhandwor 11-25-2006, 08:35 AM If you can't afford a repair manual go to the library and then copy the page. Use a volt meter or 12volt test light. One is placed on a ground and the other end in the electrical conn. Turn the fan on max. if you have voltage it should run. Their resisters for for various fan speeds. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
