A little preview.

All that has been done to the 4.3L:
Engine Balanced
Bore .30 over
Polished crankshaft
new cam bearings
Eagle H-Beam rods
Keith Black pistons, 8.7:1 compression
new rod bearings
new main bearings
Comp Cam 270AHR. Duration: 270 in., 276 ex.
PBM Valve Springs

I've pulled this thing apart and put it together once already, but that was while it was still inside the truck. This time around it should be a lot easier with the engine hoist.

Yeah I am very excited to put it all back together and hear this thing roar again. I've seen clips of my V6 with that cam in it, sounds nasty. It sounds just like a beefed up smallblock V8.

Those 4.3's can be a wicked little mill once you get away from the GM 'averageness' of it and do the hotrod tricks to it.

Keep it up... 6-cylinders rock.
