Mustang guys ... looking for some helpJekylandHyde 11-15-2006, 12:39 PM I'm not even sure where to start to look. I am considering using rims that come in: 17X11 (rears) & 17X8 (fronts) ... and, of course, a grassroots pricing would be nice :) I have Mustang cobra wheels on the car now (17X9 and 17x8): http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/images/hyde_lccc_nepa_9_3_06_Raul_2.jpg ... so, obviously Mustang sizes (from those years) will work. Anyone know what year of Mustang Cobra those wheels came from? Anyway, the 9" wide in the rear is not working for me. I would like to go to 11". I've found Kinesis K10 which I *think* are over $700 each wheel (that's just not going to happen). http://www.marcoracing.com/images/kinesis/K58StF.jpg Summit has these for $300/each: http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/are-405576142_w.jpg Would anyone kick my butt for putting a cragar-wannabe rim on an MR2? :) ... I wonder how heavy they are :( So .... any other options out there for 17X11s? Thanks, 2.2 Straight six 11-15-2006, 02:31 PM the kinesis are orgasmic,i think if you can, you should get them and keep them. of course, if that's just not possible, then look elsewhere. i don't think your second option would suit the car, to me, they just look like they'd be more at home on either an old muscle car, or an f-body. i just can't see them looking good on an MR2, but that's just me. JekylandHyde 11-15-2006, 02:48 PM clawhammer 11-15-2006, 05:18 PM HRE 540s :grinyes: They'll make it with whatever offsets you want for $1200 a piece. BlackGT2000 11-15-2006, 05:22 PM The ones that are on your car right now are 95 cobra R wheels I believe. GForce957 11-15-2006, 05:38 PM Yeah, I think they are 95 Cobra R's as well. Here's a pic http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/catalog/95cobrarwheels.jpg CassiesMan 11-15-2006, 09:13 PM These might not be too bad ... http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/images/xxx_wheels.jpg Nah, I think the Tourq Thrusts only look real good on Stangs and T/As, not even 'Maros. RACER D12 11-15-2006, 10:43 PM hmm I dont know... Im just too used to seeing them on stangs vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
