LS1 Fuel PumpSG007 11-14-2006, 03:16 PM For the 2000 Z I just bought...Besides being $400 (yikes) it's in the tank, like 3rd gens, right? WHHHYYYY...oh man I really don't want to do this again:banghead: wrightz28 11-14-2006, 06:20 PM Double check and make sure there isn't a factory access door :grinyes: Wouldn't that be nice I forget what year they started adding them 98(?) :dunno: Mr. Luos 11-14-2006, 07:04 PM No stock LS1 F-Body had said access door stock. I could have cut one into mine...but something about cutting the body didn't sit well with me. Drop the tank. Isn't all that bad. $400....is that just the pump? Because my high flow Walbro pump is $110. SG007 11-14-2006, 09:13 PM Yeah that's what Autozone said...I'll have to check around. I went through this with my 92, her pump went too. That's gotta be my least favorite part to replace. Why can't they just be easy and install on the block? (tantrum) lol wrightz28 11-15-2006, 10:06 AM why in the world do I keep thinking they added doors. my bad :sorry: SG007 11-15-2006, 11:25 AM I wish they did, it would save, oh I dunno, 5 hours or so??! And $400 in labor if you took it to a shop....jeez. The new Camaro should have an access door haha. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
