hey guys, im new to the forum and i got a problem. i have a 2002 grand cherokee laredo 4.0 il auto trans. it has a about 53,000 miles on it. sometimes it wont shift into first or second gear. it starts of in what feels like 3rd. it popped the code p1756. i beleive its the governor pressure sensor output or something. it also likes to jump between the gears when you at a stoplight or sign or just whenever you stop and its in gear. i havent done anything yet. please any help would be greatly appreciated. i dont have the money to take it to a shop. im on military pay. please help me

First thing you can do is change the transmission fluid, then go from there.
