When I start my car, I have to step on the gas to keep it running otherwise the engine dies. The rpm is only about 5000 with a/c off. If I tap the gas pedal, the engine choke before it increases rpm. I have replaced the spark plugs and wires. Got 230k miles on the engine. Please advise on what to check for. Best Regards...

Found the problem, a cracked ICV elbow hose. Replaced hose and cleaned ICV with intake and throttle valve cleaner, car now runs perfect. Thanks;)
