I am new to the honda side of this site, but I just invested into an 89 Civic DX for a tuner project and an 82 Civic 1300 CVCC FE as a kinda tuner/dialy driver because of the fuel mileage. Now my question here is what are the typical quirks with a Honda of this age where these are my first Hondas I have ever invested into. I mean no disrespect to enthusiasts, but I do know every car has their quirks, which is the only reason I ask this question. Thanks in advance and I am sure you will be seeing a lot of me on here. Oh and by the way, I am a seasoned mechanic so feel free to get into high detail.

not reanny sure what to define a quirks but the 82 will have a mechanical fuel pump and a 3bbl carb because of the cvcc system
