what car/truck did the 3t-gte motor come out of? what's the hp rating on these also.

The 3t-gte is the final evolution of the T series twincam.

st140 series Corona COUPE 1800 gt-tr
????? series Carina GT 1800 turbo.
sa60 series Celica GT 1800 gturbo.
probably came in other things too - these cars are all circa 1981-87

3tgte makes about 160hp in standard trim, good for 200hp on standard EFI and turbo. standard internals are good for 300hp /w bigger injectors and turbo.
