I have a 2002 Trailblazer. I'm getting what I think are exhaust fumes into the inside of my truck mostly when coming to a stop when driving. I think I also have to replace my electronic blend door actuator. Any relation between the two. Thanks for any help.

Could be a cracked or loose exhaust manifold causing the fumes in the cabin. Broken blend door actuators are also common on 2002's.

Blend door actuator? What is that and how can you tell if it is broken?

They are electric actuators that open/close the "damper doors" in the HVAC plenum. You may get a clicking/buzzing noise when they break or some of your HVAC vent positions wont work. They are burried up under the dash.

I agree with Joel, but make sure you check your exhaust manifold. There are some early year guys (02-03) having issues with the manifolds rusting through.
