Exhaust fumesthebrug 11-09-2006, 05:16 PM I have a 2002 Trailblazer. I'm getting what I think are exhaust fumes into the inside of my truck mostly when coming to a stop when driving. I think I also have to replace my electronic blend door actuator. Any relation between the two. Thanks for any help. rodeo02 11-09-2006, 09:47 PM Could be a cracked or loose exhaust manifold causing the fumes in the cabin. Broken blend door actuators are also common on 2002's. Joel 95_ESi_Person 11-09-2006, 09:57 PM Blend door actuator? What is that and how can you tell if it is broken? rodeo02 11-09-2006, 10:25 PM Blend door actuator? What is that and how can you tell if it is broken? They are electric actuators that open/close the "damper doors" in the HVAC plenum. You may get a clicking/buzzing noise when they break or some of your HVAC vent positions wont work. They are burried up under the dash. Joel ScarabEpic22 11-13-2006, 03:08 AM I agree with Joel, but make sure you check your exhaust manifold. There are some early year guys (02-03) having issues with the manifolds rusting through. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
