I am wanting to change my negative cable because it has corrosion. But I cant see an easy way to remove it, since it is mounted to the botom side of the engine. And its gonna be alot of work just to get to it. Is there possible anyway that i can re-route a new cable . maybe ground the other end to the frame up top, like I have seen on most cars. And not even worry about the original cable. Thanks for any help. 1990 Ford Thunderbird S.C. 3.8

Attach it to an engine bolt that you can get to easily. It's better to bolt it to the engine then to the frame. If you put your car on jack stands or ramps you should be able to unbolt the original cable from underneath. Be sure to clean the area well that you are going to attach the cable to.
