The new tires are also 225's instead of 215's and are a much much better tire overall than the Pirellis...not that the Pirellis were aweful, these are just that much better. They are Bridgestone Potenza REO50A Pole Positions.

Are they 18's or 17's? Looks good, but it needs to be lowered now.

I was always a fan of the silver, but those go well with the hood.

The width is 10mm wider but it still adds a tad to the height. I'm sure you know that though.

I won't be dropping the back lower than the front as the rear of the car sits about 1 1/2 inches higher than the front. I'll just be making the car a little more level is all. It really does look strange because of the much higher rearend at the moment.

looks good. you should tint your windows so it sets off the CF hood and dark rims.

Well it's not like the scoop on a new t/a which connects the scoops directly to the intake, but it does have a hole in the c/f with some metal mesh to keep larger items from being pushed through. It does add a bit of engine compartment cooling...not much, but a little.

Well I've got the springs that I do because I was able to pick them up for $100 brand new from my buddy who worked at a Caddy dealership. The list price is over $230. The other springs drop it about 1 inch in the front and about 1 1/2 in the back. It looks great, but my god would that kill the underside of the car. I hit my front end on everything on the road right now as it is at stock height. I'd hate to think what would happen if it were any lower in the front. So 1/2 and inch in the rear will have to do.

Just a cause of function over form is all. Although, they do look bitchin when dropped a bunch...

Although I am not a fan of black anymore with polished lip, these do look better than most.
But the car does need a suspension drop.

If he was going to go with more than 1/2" suspension drop then he would be better off just buying complete coil-overs. Otherwise, his stock struts would go to crap a lot faster. Function over form is win win in my book... .02

I'm willing to bet they are the exact same thing as the Kazara wheels, just without the universal wheel mounts. These are ASA's though, which is basically a Korean sister company of BBS. They are also lighter than stock, about 3-4 pounds per corner. The problem is that my new tires are 4 pounds heavier per corner than the Pirellis. :lol: So I havent really done any wieght savings overall.
But the good news is that the Bridgestones rock, so it was worth it. I also got a killer deal on them at tirerack(got a good deal on the whole package actually.)

P.S...Tat, when I get a bit of extra time I'd like to have a chat with you about 240's. I'm thinking of having my g/f get one to replace her 2000 Regal and you're pretty much the authority on them around this part of the forum.
