Does anyone know which fuse this is? Just bought and am missing the manual. None of the windows work.

Thx, Nancie

Open the front passenger door to reveal an access door on the side of the dashboard to the right of the glovebox. Power windows are fuse #26 and the owners manual states it is a circuit breaker fuse.

If none of the windows work and you find the fuse to be good then you should check the ground wire (black) in the rubber boot between the drivers door and Jeep body. Just remove the rubber boot to expose all the wires and I'm guessing that you will find the ground wire (if not others) to be broken.

This is what my issue was on my 93. If it were just one window then I'd say differently, but this is a common issue as the wire harness between the door and body is a bit too short and the wires will get worn down and break.

To fix it just splice the wire back together and solder it. Then cover the splice with electrical tape (or heat shrink if you want) and all should be good again. You can add wire if need be, but just make sure you add the same guage wire.

Good luck!
Keith
