Hi...

I have an 87 Buick Century Custom 3.8. Last week it stared overheating. There was a small hole in the intake manifold shooting out antifreeze! My mechanic batched that up with some sort of bonding material because we couldn't find a replacement intake manifold for a car that old :uhoh:

It doesn't leak anymore but NOW it's stalling! It starts fine... idles roughly for a minute and then it stalls. He replaced the sensor and coil. Does anyone know what it could be? What else to check???

:frown:

Did anyone check the fuel pressure? step one, when it stalls what does it take to restart it?

I'm not sure if he did. I'll bring it up. Thanks :-)

Check the spark plugs next after the fuel pressure.

how far and how long did you drive your car before you noticed antifreeze coming out? A lot more could be wrong than just sensors if it got really hot...
