2006 TB - Rear Doors Hard to closetpl1105 11-06-2006, 03:56 PM I just purchased a 2006 Trail Blazer with 14K miles. It's an LS with 4 wheel drive. The two rear doors do not close as smooth as the two front doors. It looks as though there is a bracket that acts as a cam. I removed the rubber boot on the door panel then sprayed the two rollers with good lubricant hoping that would solve the problem. It did not. I would appreciate any suggestions? I could take it back to the dealer if necessary. If it's an easy problem to remendy then I could do it myself. Thanks tpl rodeo02 11-06-2006, 04:21 PM Lubing the check strap guide rollers like you did is a good thing! Those usually get missed and make all sorts of racket (creaking, etc). You will need to work some lube into the top and bottom hinges. My 2005 was just like yours when I first got it (used). I have the best luck with white lithium spray grease. Dealerships use some 'superlube' type stuff that is good too. Joel vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
