Hello, Just wondered if anyone could help, we've got a laguna and the engine management light comes on, been reset a couple of times, but comes back on usually only after constant driving of a 100 mile or 200 mile journey. A motorway journey at a constant speed then you accelerate/decelerate the light comes on and loss of turbo, no power.:banghead:

Fault code is 332 intake air circuit, So far its had an air mass meter, new glow plugs, Throttlebody cleaned, New EGR valve, map sensor. ECU been checked all o.k.

Vehicle been to renault dealers had it for a week and couldn't fault, when light came on and been on diagnostic same code they suggested air mass meter but thats already been replaced so now they just suggest replacing parts.

Any one can help with this?

I have the exact same problem.

Some additional information:
It occurs mostly at high loads, i.e.
- high speed (150km/h) after a longer period of driving in the 6th gear and then trying to accelerate a little
- this is especially typical when using the cruise control (tries to accelerate on a slope)
- when driving in the mountains and climbing in a gear that appears to be to high (3rd in stead of 2nd)

Also after a break (petrol stop or a bit longer) and then accelerating again on the highway.

Any help appreciated!

Exactly, the electric fault light goes on.

After stopping the car, turning the engine off and on again, the light goes off and turbo/power are back to normal.

I found that switching back one gear before accelerating prevent the problem from happening.

Question is: how to solve this permanently. My guess is a software problem.

Have now had the problem fixed..... It was a solid build up of oil & carbox in the pipes where the throttle bits are. A mobile mechanic cleaned it all out for £60 and it works perfect now.

The other suspected is the electric valve that opens/closes turbo wastegate.. Just clean it inside trough pipes with penetrating spray and will forget about the problem for long time...

Also clean EGR valve each 20k km
