Just a little video from todayMr. Luos 11-04-2006, 07:01 PM http://home.comcast.net/~mrluos/dynotimes.wmv 531.1 RWHP 481.1 ft/pounds But not on that pull. Can anyone tell me why that pull was 470 RWHP? :D goldz28 11-05-2006, 12:42 AM I am guessing that you were spinning the tires on the dyno. Sounds good man. Blackcrow64 11-05-2006, 01:03 AM I thoroughly enjoyed watching that... Maybe I will get a new Trans Am after all. lol  Mr. Luos 11-05-2006, 02:46 AM I am guessing that you were spinning the tires on the dyno. Sounds good man. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. :grinyes: goldz28 11-05-2006, 12:43 PM Why did the one guy spray your back tired with something? I thought it sounded like it ran up there kinda fast...lol. Never mind A dyno's version of VHT. Belt dressing. To assist in traction with a high horsepower car. Mr. Luos 11-05-2006, 05:57 PM  This is the sad part. SAE corrected numbers.... 531.1 RWHP 481.1 ft/pounds Actual non-adjusted numbers.... 443.5 RWHP 402.0 ft/pounds And the track is 600 feet higher than the dyno shop. goldz28 11-05-2006, 09:11 PM so you only really gained like 6 hp or so? Mr. Luos 11-05-2006, 09:36 PM More than that. Picked up 11 RWHP and 15 ft/pounds in the non-corrected numbers. The SAE numbers were 8 RWHP and 11 ft/pounds gained. The non-corrected numbers are more important here. Plus, the computer was still learning the new flow. Only had about 20 miles of drive time with the cutouts on. goldz28 11-05-2006, 09:59 PM You dont have any cats. Do you have the check engine light on? If not did you have to have them tuned out? I am getting tired of mine being on...lol balls_to_the_wall 11-05-2006, 11:02 PM Put some electrical tape over the light so you can't see it anymore.... Mr. Luos 11-06-2006, 07:05 PM You dont have any cats. Do you have the check engine light on? If not did you have to have them tuned out? I am getting tired of mine being on...lol Turned off via tuner. 1986Z28 11-07-2006, 04:45 PM that sounds sweet viperh 11-07-2006, 07:38 PM I'm guessing the guy sprayed VHT on your tire to help with traction.. Unfortunately I don't think he sprayed enough on there. By the sound of that lope why did you choose such a small cam :) ? Sounds bad ass congrats. Nate Mr. Luos 11-07-2006, 09:47 PM Not VHT. It is your everyday belt dressing. Works on the dyno somehow. I don't get into that stuff. 248/254 629/622 113 Baby cam. 666_speed 11-07-2006, 11:23 PM 248/254 629/622 113 Baby cam. Yeah, only sissies run that small of a cam. :screwy: goldz28 11-07-2006, 11:57 PM Turned off via tuner. What kind of tuner? Mr. Luos 11-08-2006, 11:38 AM HPTuners. LS1Edit. EFILive Mr. Luos 11-08-2006, 04:20 PM Updated the video. It now has three different pulls on the dyno. Basicly all three exhaust set-ups I have run with the 402 LSx. http://home.comcast.net/~mrluos/dynotimes.wmv goldz28 11-08-2006, 09:39 PM Nice. 666_speed 11-09-2006, 02:37 PM Nice. :iamwithst Mr. Luos 11-10-2006, 06:39 PM I love the powerband. Anything above 4200 is evil....but it still kicks up back from 2300 and up. Sorry...scanner is down so I had to snap a pic of the graphs. This is before and after the cutouts. Roughly two months separate the pulls. Computer also didn't have much time to learn the cutouts...maybe 20 miles. Normally the PCM likes 80 miles to adjust for minor things like that. It picked up 1-2 RWHP each pull last week. http://www.arbybean.com/ar/images/Graph.JPG vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
