EGR Valvegspservice 11-02-2006, 08:50 PM Had a pluged egr vacuum port and hose, got both of them cleaned out but would like to take the valve off for a full cleaning. Is the a easy way to disconnect the EGR pipe on the bottom can't get in there with a wrench the firewall is to close its a 91 4cyl thanks typesix 11-02-2006, 10:42 PM You can get in there with a wrench, but it has to be one with short handle. That's how I did it, but I was lucky to receive a set of short handle wrenches as a present from my brother-in-law. gspservice 11-03-2006, 05:12 PM Thats an option or cutting off the end, but my luck it will be to rusty to turn Brian R. 11-04-2006, 03:49 AM Penetrating oil is your friend. gspservice 11-05-2006, 12:54 AM Penetrating oil is your friend.
