Hey my name is Mike Gaffney, I just created a web site for people to buy prints of my automotive art, or to request original work ( as in ill send you the 12 x 18 original drawing in the mail ) of anything you want

So i came apon this site to kinda get my website out there and to help people or maybe even learn a thing or 2, my site is http://www.thegaffney.com

ill have some examples of my work below, but pretty soon ill have a How-To section on how i drew some of the cars on the site and on basic shading sketching, etc.

anywho, also iam a member of deviantart.com at http://impdesign.deviantart.com really neat site for artist if your not aready a part of it

lol yeah, there a little bit better for high detail because the lead is harder then prismacolor so it stays really sharp longer

Wow, awesome work man. Your work just proves that you don't need fancy supplies to make something look good. I will be looking forward to your tutorials.

Keep up the good work! I hope to see more.

Very cool site indeed! My favorite piece of work so far is the white and black Subaru WRX. Absolutely amazing!!!

You might want to correct a few typos I noticed though.

1. "Portriats" on your left-side bar navigation should be "Portraits"
2. You misspelled "Eleanor", the GT500 Mustang.

Otherwise, everything is great! Also, how come there is no picture of the Ferrari F430 in the Exotics section? I LOVE Ferrari's!

Amazing, how old are you how long have you been drawing, is that all freehand or did you use a grid?
Very impressive cant wait to see more of your work.

hey thanks for mentioning the spelling mistakes ill fix em tonite,

i have a bout 70 car drawings iam only putting the best ones out there ill eventually get the ferrari on there though theres about 8 more i wann put on the site

yeah i use gridding, i only finish i drawing if iam excited about it, and if i freehand it ill prolly get something out of proportion and not want to finish it lol, i like it to be as close to perfect as i can,

it started out as a hobby, it keeps me outta trouble lol, i ve been doin cars since my sophmore year in highschool, and iam 21 now so for like or so years ive been doin it

Awesome, photo realistic stuff. I actually thought the Porsche was a photo until I had a longer look (stared at it for 20 minutes). Crayolas huh? I'll have to try them, I use Prismas and you're right about them blunting fast. My stuff is not as realistic as yours, so I too look forward to some tutorials.
