Hello, nebie here.
I have a 00 Taurus with the Vulcan engine, and I am trying to get a little more pep out of her. I ran across an ad for a redline chip, and was wondering if any of you guys have tried it, or would I be wasting my time and money. Any feedback would be helpful, Thanx

If it was along the lines of a $20 dollar chip you are wasting your money. It is just a resistor in a box that tricks the computer into thinking you need more fuel.

You can get an SCT Xcalibrator II that will have 3 custome programs for about $350.

Timing,Fuel curves, Transmission shift points are some of the things that can be modified
