stock spoiler lifttomphan018 10-29-2006, 02:06 PM hey everyone, i decided not to get a type R spoiler for my 96 civic hatch. in order to have extra money for a paint job. so i want it to look a little sporty at least. can anyone tell me how i can do a lift on my stock spoiler? i heard it has something to do with washers. greatly apppreciate it! 94SolGrl 10-29-2006, 06:46 PM if you use washers to raise your stock spoiler it will look like crap. It'll look like it's hovering. I've seen people use fiberglass and the bottom of another spoiler to lift them, but only on del Sols, because the bottom of our factory spoiler isn't flared, so we can get a clean line. Leave the spoiler where it is and save for a genuine type R style mid spoiler (check out wings west.. its the flat one that goes under the window), or get a duckbill style cf one. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
