Check fuel pressure, 94 will probably need a scanner capable of scanning interim year cars. racerx300 10-28-2006, 08:39 PM well i pulled the codes have a number 26 and 34 codes besides the number 12 by passed the fuel relay have fuel at the rail squirts at first then just a steady stream not sur how normal this is i dont have a gauge so it makes it more difficult maxwedge 10-29-2006, 10:21 AM No gage, no diagnosis! Actually 34 is a maf problem, make sure the connections are good to maf, if the fp is good replace the maf. 26 is another issue clear up your driveabilty problem first. Dash1114 11-14-2006, 11:59 AM Sorry Im late with this but on the 3.3L the MAF can be cleaned I use Denatured alchol and clean with a q-tip the wires then I use dish soap with a q-tip to wash off any other residue then rinse with cool water to remove the soap.. These new MAF will last almost forever unless the wires break.. I had the same symptoms with mine and I cleaned it and reinstalled and now it works great.. Saved me 150.00 dollars on a new one.. Ian Szgatti 11-14-2006, 09:27 PM Put a fuel pump in it. Even a used one that you can watch a guy bench test. I know this symptom all to well... it is the fuel pump. Don't worry about what the computer tells you. Once you replace the pump you'll be golden... dont forget to change your fuel filter at the same time. Not that you need it, but hey, if your going to be under there.. If you want to test the MAF, probe the reference voltage, should be 5 volts. connect it to the MAF, and probe the backside of the connector, at the same pin you should read 2.5V. If you get the car running, lightly tap the MAF with your finger, or a screw driver handle, if the idle fluctuates, replace MAF. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
