94 Deville Concours HVAC blower motorpenguinjb 10-28-2006, 11:58 AM I have a 94 Deville Concours 4.6 Northstar and the battery keeps going dead after 5 or 6 days of setting. After parking, I hear the blower motor starting slowly (10 or 15 rpms) for a couple seconds and then stopping and in a few seconds, it starts slowly again. It keeps doing this till the battery goes dead. I have tried parking it with the HVAC on and off and it still does the same thing? There are no codes in the computer related to this. Any suggestions?? MT-2500 10-28-2006, 12:49 PM I have a 94 Deville Concours 4.6 Northstar and the battery keeps going dead after 5 or 6 days of setting. DFBonnett 10-28-2006, 07:23 PM On the firewall on the passenger side you'll see the housing for the blower. The module should be to the left of the blower, also on the housing, and have wires running to the blower. In any event, that's the layout on my '93 Eldo. Freakzilla69 09-08-2008, 05:46 PM Is the "Blower Module" also known as a "Blower Motor Resistor"? I have a '95 Deville 4.9L and the blower motor would stay on all the time, or sometimes it would go on and off and change speeds randomly, if I didn't unplug the power it would run the battery down. I thought it was the power connector to the blower motor and I replaced that but the problem persisted. It's hard to look cool when you have to pop your hood every time you get in and out of your car. :loser: The Blower Motor Resistor is ~$125 at Advanced, I'd gladly pay that to fix this. The blower motor has no resister on 95 Deville or Concours auto ac heater. The blower motor speeds are controler by the ac/heater programer. This post is almost 2 years old.
