Two Problems Grand CherokeeLELeach 10-27-2006, 04:56 PM I have had far too many care-free miles since my last post. My 1994 GC Laredo just turned 173,000 miles and starts fine when cold. After it reaches operating temp when I shut it off it is difficult to start. It cranks just fine. Here's how it goes. Crank for a few seconds, turn ignition off, crank a few seconds, turn ignition off. It usually cranks on the second or third try, never on the first unless it is well below operating temp. If I start it and let it run long enough to get temp up to say 120 degrees then turn ignition off. It will start quickly on first try. Second Problem: My steering feels loose. There is no shimmy, no unusual tire wear, good tread on tires, rotate every 5,000 miles. The vehicle tends to wander at highway speeds. Thanks in advance for any advice. T-Dubb 01-28-2007, 06:21 PM maybe needs new fuel filter. spielightdude 01-28-2007, 06:43 PM Wonder if a front end alignment might help the wandering issue? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
