Sometimes when im driving my "battery" light will periodically turn on and off. but it is a dim glow, not fully on. I know these cars have certain signals (such as the E-brake light = low brake fluid) and was wondering what this meant. (89 240sx hatchback)

Does yo car start fine or wind over a little longer than usual? Undo yo battery caps and make sure they are full of water, if they are then get someone to test yo alternator to make sure its charging yo battery as much as it should be.
