Ok so I am kinda new to subarus and awd cars. I recently noticed smoke comin from the car so I popped the hood and i think i figured it out. There is a drip that i think is coming from my front right cv joint and drips onto the exhaust and burns off. Do i need to replace the whole cv joint or just a new boot? If i need to do the whole thing will this do--

If i put this in how difficult is it? Just take out the pin and any other connections and replace it?

Thanks!

Replacing you axle(cv joint)is very easy. All you have to do is take off the axle nut, lower control arm nut, and axle roll pin..and you are good. Unless your axle is froze in the wheel bearing , then you got a problem..
