hey i would really like to know if i could put a cold air intake to my car without turbo if i wanted to and what are my advantages if i do?i would also like to know any suggestions that anyone would have to tune up my performance, any parts i should or could. i have a 94 grand am gt 3.1 please and thank you all for your prfessional help

hey, first off yes you could put a cold air intake into your car wihtout a turbo, your advantages are your car will breathe much much easier instead of the stock airbox you will have a cone suckin in more air which will get more cold air into the engine thus providing more power. should gain a few horsepower from it dont really know if youll feel it by itself i felt mine afte ri installed my exhaust then put my intake in i felt such a big difference. Plus you get this awesome whistleing sound when you hit high RPMs which is a kewl feature(kinda like a blowoff valve just not as sick) to improve your performance, you could start off with cheaper stuff like the intake, then a custom exhaust, lowering springs and a PCM, then pretty much after that your options are now limited to expensive stuff like headers, throttle body, turbos, cams...etc.. performance isnt cheap so remeber that. if you want a more detail on any items or anything at all let us know.:smokin:
