does anyone know the dimensions of the vg30de? other then the duh 3 lt. i mean the actual physical dimensions? hight width length?

could nto find the 300zx forum btw.

if you're asking here then i assume you want to do the swap on a 240, and we already know that it fits, so there's nothing stoping you.

nope just need the dimensions. i am actullay thinking of it in the 280zx/mk2 supra/95 plus custom eclipse cheaper start car. so does any know the dimensions of the vg?

Some quick measurements:

~32" wide at the top with the tubes and wires hanging off included

~24" from the back of the plenum to the edges of the timing belt covers, add 4" for the stock clutch fan

~28" from the top of the intake plenum to the bottom of the oil pan

you rock hardcore- i just need to know th dimensions of the yota motor now (i am comparing the two) the 3v motor (3.0 v6 in the camrys from the early 90's)

OMFG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! sorry for the missunderstanding- i ment i am cmparing the size of the camry v6 to the vg not to put in a camry but the camry motor is almost everything forged- it is a very good motor for cheap. and lots of tq.

there is alot less for the vq then teh vg i am familiar with the vg- if i were to go vg i would do an h v8 motor.
