Water in exhaust and tailpipesprucebingsteen 10-16-2006, 07:23 PM Hello everyone, 98 Grand voyager 171,000 kms., 3.3L I have clear liquid(water?) leaking out the back of my muffler which is just before the rear tire and leaking from my tailpipe. Oil is black and low a little ( not changed it for a while and I am due) trans fluid is red and perfect. Now i know a blown gasket fits this symptom but it would make my oil milky white and my oil is not mixed with my antifreeze because its green and perfect. Why is (water?) coming out? RIP 10-16-2006, 09:21 PM If you're not getting white smoke out the TP, the liquid doesn't have a green tint and/or isn't slimmy, it's probably just condensation. Watch your coolant level closely. earlyrizr 10-17-2006, 12:05 AM mine does that for about 5-10 min after cold start.completely normal, the muffler even has a drip hole for the condensation. But as RIP said keep an eye on the fluid levels.remember it's getting to the cold season and you will notice it more.a blown gasket into the cylinders would be white smoke all the time, and would smell rather sweet, plus the coolant level would drop. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
