ok i might buy this 98 gtp and it has the current mods, i searched all the mods and got the hp at the crank for them and the total with the car is 400hp at the crank, not sure if this is right but, how much hp u think this car with all mods is at the wheels and what would the time be on the 1/4, the owner said the previous owner ran a 13.2 and thats without the SLP headers.

No, that car is NO WHERE near 400hp, its probably getting 260-270hp to the wheels...

until it gets a cam and some head work, you won't be near 300hp to the wheels, for 400hp you better be bringing in the turbo or a lot of mods(I.c., cam, intense or ZZP Stage III heads, etc.)

and not saying it didn't happen, but with those mods, I don't believe you'd be pulling a 13.2, of course I don't know the car and people have went in the 13s with just a few mods, so he may be telling the truth or could just be trying to sell a car...

I agree the HP figures are debateable. The 13.2 ET is possible but I doubt that claim without the headers. With I find it plausible considering the other mods. Just ask for any timeslips to be safe if it really makes any difference to you.

well he never said 400hp, but i looked up all the mods and it came to 160hp to the CRANK not wheels.. plus the stock car that is 240hp to the crank, but he did say it probably has around 260hp at the wheels, What should be the next thing i upgrade, If i were to buy it.

04GTP-WhatLAG? suggested camshaft in which I agree but the ultimate mod is an intercooler.
