hello all

im lookin at getting sum sounds out of my car, but dont want to spend HUGE amouts of money on a kit cat back witch cost like 700 plus

i went to a muffler shop and dude said for 400 bucks hed make me a custom cat back system (2 1/2 pipe) and obviously remove the u bend .
plus 250 for the mufflers, magnaflow or sum shit like that

he said i can just put the mufflers on and it would sound pretty much the same .

so im lookin for the specs for the stock muffler inlet and outleft so i can match them up when buyin my muffles, any1 got the specs? or know of a place i can get sum decent mufflers for not a arm and leg?

ok i just got the ubend done at a local shop.the exhaust guy lou at the place is well known around here and i asked him the same he said our stock pipe is stanless steel and no need to get rid of it he said throw some new mufflers on and bam that should sound nice,this dud will do the mufflers which ever i want cuz his shop has tons and whatever tips for $350.so maybe you might want to keep the stock cat back cuz i think its 2.5 or something like that and should be fine.later man ~joe

Mufflers are 1 and 7/8 inches in and 2 and 1/4 out. The system is 2.25" back to the Y and then narrows down to the 1 and 7/8" to the mufflers.
